Supporting The Ocean Cleanup
The Ocean Cleanup is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to ridding the world's oceans of plastic pollution.
Founded in 2013 by Boyan Slat, the organisation develops and scales solutions designed to stop plastic entering the ocean through rivers while also removing plastic that has already accumulated in marine environments.
Through extensive research, engineering and partnerships with governments, industry and other organisations, The Ocean Cleanup is working to tackle plastic pollution at a global scale.
As of 2026, The Ocean Cleanup has removed more than 52 million kilograms of trash from rivers, seas and oceans around the world and continues to deploy solutions where they can have the greatest impact.
