Colour Roll was created from a simple moment between a father and daughter - and a belief that colouring can be so much more.
A father, a daughter, and one small idea
Colour Roll's founder was colouring with his daughter using a large colouring page, but it didn't take long before she lost interest.
Looking closer, he realised why - the artwork felt repetitive, generic and disconnected from the real world. A fish was simply "a fish." There was no story behind it. No opportunity to learn. No spark of curiosity.
That moment inspired an idea: what if colouring could become something more meaningful? What if creativity could encourage children to explore, ask questions and discover the world around them?
That idea became Colour Roll.
